The Pebbles game software is a captivating puzzle that stimulates the mind and tests the player's ability to solve riddles involving secret codes. This game is suited for those who love various challenges and enjoy a good brain-teaser. The objective of the game is to uncover a set of secret codes formed by pebbles of different colors within ten tries.

The setup of the game is simple, but the challenge is significant. As the game begins, a blank decoding board is presented to the player. Eight pebbles of various colors are arranged on the selection panel to the left of the board. The board consists of ten rows of small holes, each row containing four empty holes.

The player then makes their initial guess by sliding up to four pebbles onto the bottom row of the decoding board. Once done, the player clicks the "Guess" button on the right. The color combinations of the secret codes may include repetitions and spaces.

Pebbles software offers an exciting mental workout, challenging players to solve color-based secret codes.
Features:
  • Colored pebbles: The game uses a variety of colored pebbles to create secret codes.
  • Guessing system: The player gets ten attempts to guess the secret codes.
  • Feedback: After a guess is made, feedback appears on the right side of the board indicating whether the color and position of the pebbles are correct or not.
  • Color hint: This feature allows the player to receive a hint by removing an incorrect colored pebble from the selection panel.
  • "Reveal" button: This feature allows the player to view an answer at the top of the board, but using this function will result in a loss of part of their final score.

The game provides feedback with each guess. A green light indicates a correct match in both color and position to the secret codes, while a white light signifies that only the color is correct. It's important to note that the position of the lights doesn't necessarily correspond to the correct positions of the pebbles.

If the player finds themselves stuck, they can get color hints or, if needed, press the "Reveal" button to see one of the answers. However, using these aids reduces the final score. The game records the time spent and displays a score penalty percentage under the "Reveal" button.
