Relive the joys of your childhood with the classic board game software 'Reversi'! This game involves an 8x8 grid and 64 two-color pieces. Each piece has one side colored black and the other white. Your goal is to finish the game with more of your colored pieces flipped than the computer.

As the game begins, black or white is randomly assigned to each player, with two pieces from each side placed in the center of the 4th and 5th rows on the board. The player with the black pieces always goes first and players take turns placing pieces on the board. A player must capture at least one opponent's piece, otherwise, they must forfeit their turn. To capture opponent's pieces, a player must place a piece on the board in a way that it horizontally, vertically, or diagonally aligns with their own color pieces, with no spaces in between, and completely surrounds at least one of the opponent's pieces. All opponent pieces that are trapped by the player's pieces as a result of the move will be flipped and become the player's pieces. The scoreboard to the left of the screen indicates the current number of pieces on each side.

Features:
  • Turn-Based: The game is played in turns, forcing players to strategically plan their moves.
  • Timer: A displayed timer shows the remaining time for a player to make their move, adding an element of pressure and strategy.
  • Scoreboard: A live scoreboard allows players to track the progress of the game and understand their position in relation to their opponent.
  • Color of Pieces: The pieces are two-colored (black and white), adding an additional layer of strategy regarding how the pieces are placed and turns executed.

A player must complete their moves within the allotted time, as indicated by the timer on the screen, otherwise, they lose. The game ends when both players are unable to make further moves, and the player with the greatest number of flipped pieces in their favor wins.

'Reversi' software enhances strategic thinking skills by providing a challenging game environment with a real-time scoreboard and timer.
