Here is a list of functions available with the spreadsheet: (where you substitute a cell reference for the x)
abs(x) absolute value
cos(x) cosine
ln(x) natural logarithm
pi() 3.14159 (need the brackets with nothing between them)
sin(x) sine
sqr(x) square (sqr(7)=49)
sqrt(x) square root
trunc(x) truncate so trunc(5.8)=5 and trunc(-5.8)=-5
"To get:"
pos(x) which =0 if the cell reference is negative, otherwise it is the value of the cell reference. Use (abs(x)+x)/2 where x is the cell reference.
max(x,y) where x and y are cell references. Use (abs(x-y)+x+y)/2
The above work for positive and negative values. The following works for positive values only:
round x to the nearest tenth, use trunc(x*10+0.5)/10
round x to the nearest hundred, use trunc(x/100+0.5)*100
