Trapcode Form is a plugin for Adobe After Effects video editor, which allows you to create three-dimensional objects using nets, polygons and particle systems. In addition to working on models, expansion can also simulate materials with different physical properties, such as fabric. The developer of the plugin is Red Giant Software - the most famous and largest representative of the market, whose products have a very high cost, but are used by professional editors when working on high-budget movies. So, Trapcode Form is just one of those products.
The extension allows you to import objects and animation sequences in OBJ format. The standard plugin package contains more than forty ready-made presets, from which the user can "make" the desired model. The set of tools of modelling in Trapcode Form is extremely extensive and does not concede to that at many "independent" 3D-editors. The extension is able to build orthogonal projections, supports work with three-dimensional layers, gives the opportunity to work with shadows, and also offers advanced functions of texture and adjustment of the effect of blurring in motion.
The plugin integrates closely with other Adobe After Effects tools, such as the camera control module and project manager. Integration with the video editor takes place in parallel with the installation of the extension on the computer. You can find the Trapcode Form in the standard extensions menu. Official support for the plugin is available for Adobe After Effects CS6 and later.
