One of the main reasons 3D Builder is so liked is because it's features are few and simplistic. There aren't a lot of bells and whistles that will distract or overwhelm the user, and the options are so simple, new users can figure it out in less than 10 minutes.
Another impressive feature of the program is the ability to take 2D images and convert them to 3D models ready to be viewed and manipulated. The 2D conversion tool has been one of the most talked-about options that 3D Builder has to offer. In almost all cases, any 2D image you can load into the program, you can form into a fully functional 3D image in just a few minutes.
The reason I personally like this program is that I was able to pick it up in less than a few minutes. I've dabbled in 3D models before and it normally takes several hours of work to become literate at sophisticated 3D model programs. 3D Builder acts as a true beginner's software, solely designed to get you used to 3D modeling quickly so you can graduate to better programs.
The interface is very intuitive and responsive, and I've never had any system resource issues like other programs. If you've never used 3D programs before, they usually take up a large number of resources, but 3D Builder doesn't do that at all. I think just about any system will be able to run 3D Builder with no issues at all. I'd highly recommend this for anyone that wants to get into 3D modeling.

This application only supports computers, mobiles, surface hub,s and HoloLens. It only supports the Windows operating system. It has the ability to clean up objects by smoothing and simplifying. It can automatically repair objects for printing. It also has a simplistic drag-and-drop feature to build with simple shapes. It can open 3MF, STL, OBJ, WRLD and even the gITF files.
Users can export the file in 3MF, STL, PLY or even in the raw OBJ files. Currently it supports the x86, x64, ARM and the ARM64 architectures.
However, users often complain about the flexibility of this application.
