Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 August 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website https://softradar.com and related services (the “Service”) operated by SoftRadar under CodeRockers LTD, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page and take effect from the date of publication, unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

About the Service

SoftRadar is an online software catalogue that provides information about software products and, where available, access to download files or links related to those products. Content on the Service is provided for general information purposes. We do not develop all listed software and are not the manufacturer or publisher of third-party products unless expressly stated.

Software made available on the Service is, as a general rule, shareware or other official evaluation / trial versions published or authorised by the software vendor. We do not distribute cracked software, serial numbers, licence keys, keygens, patches, or other tools or materials intended to circumvent software licensing or copy protection.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract under the laws of Cyprus (or your place of residence, if different) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

  • use the Service in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or in breach of these Terms;
  • modify, copy, create derivative works from, decompile, or reverse engineer materials or software on the Service except as permitted by mandatory applicable law;
  • remove copyright or other proprietary notices from materials on the Service;
  • “mirror” or systematically scrape, harvest, or collect content or user data without our prior written consent;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, our networks, security measures, or other users;
  • transmit malware, spam, or unsolicised advertising through or in connection with the Service;
  • upload or publish content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or that infringes the rights of others (including intellectual property and privacy rights);
  • upload, request, or share cracks, keygens, licence keys, serial numbers, or other materials designed to bypass software licensing or copy protection;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, accounts, or systems.

We may suspend or restrict access, remove content, or take other appropriate action if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or applicable law.

Downloads and Third-Party Software

Where we host or link to a download, the file is generally intended to be an official shareware, trial, or evaluation build (or another legitimate redistribution authorised by the publisher), not a modified or “warez” copy. SoftRadar does not provide or endorse software cracks, pirate licence keys, or similar circumvention materials.

Software made available through the Service may be provided by third-party publishers. Where we host or link to a download:

  • you download and use such software at your own risk and subject to any licence terms of the software publisher (including any trial-period or shareware limitations);
  • we do not warrant that any particular file is free from defects, malware, or incompatibility with your system;
  • you are responsible for verifying that you have the right to download and use the software in your jurisdiction and for complying with export, copyright, and licence restrictions;
  • descriptions, screenshots, version numbers, and file sizes are provided as-is and may contain errors or become outdated.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue availability of any product listing or download at any time. If you believe a listing or file is unauthorised or infringing, please report it via our DMCA page; we will take prompt action as described there.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, compilation of content, and materials we create or licence, is owned by or licensed to CodeRockers LTD and protected by applicable intellectual property laws of Cyprus and international treaties. Except for a limited, revocable licence to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms, no rights are granted to you.

Third-party software names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

User-Generated Content

If you submit comments, reviews, reports, or other content (“User Content”), you retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable and sub-licensable licence to host, store, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise use that User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.

You confirm that you have all rights needed to submit the User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights. We may refuse, edit, or remove User Content at our discretion, including for moderation or legal compliance.

Privacy

Personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy, in accordance with the GDPR and applicable Cyprus data protection law.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Cyprus and EU law, the Service and all materials, downloads, and information are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory provisions of Cyprus or EU consumer protection law that apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CodeRockers LTD and its officers, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us (if any) for the specific paid service giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) EUR 100.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CodeRockers LTD from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your User Content, your misuse of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.

Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please follow the process described on our DMCA page.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

The courts of the Republic of Cyprus shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of habitual residence within the EU/EEA.
