InstallAware Developer Setup Builder

InstallAware Developer is the scripting edition of the InstallAware installation authoring suite from InstallAware Software. It is aimed at software developers who need Windows Installer packages with conditional logic. Setups are described in MSIcode, a script in which commands are inserted by drag and drop and edited in dialogs, and the compiler turns this script into a standard MSI database or a native code EXE installer.

The development environment links the script with visual designers, so a change in one view appears in the other. Scripts can branch and loop, define or remove setup features at run time and be reused across projects. Projects can also be built as MSIX or App-V packages, several packages can be merged into a suite installer, and a wizard creates custom runtime prerequisites. All functions of the Express edition are included. InstallAware is commercial software with a time-limited trial, and all editions share one download.
