RS File Repair from Recovery Software is a Windows tool for repairing damaged image files. Photos in JPEG, PNG and TIFF formats that no longer open, show grey areas or are partly broken, for example after a camera or memory card error, are analysed and repaired without reducing their quality, and embedded thumbnails and EXIF data are preserved.

Brings damaged photos back to a viewable state.

A step-by-step wizard guides the user through selecting files on hard disks, memory cards, USB drives or cameras connected by USB, and an optional deep analysis makes several passes for badly damaged files. Repaired images are previewed before saving. The trial shows the results, but saving requires a licence, and GIF files are not supported.
