ShixxNOTE

ShixxNOTE is a sticky notes program and personal organiser written by Ozren Sirola from Croatia. Notes are created from the system tray icon and stay visible on the Windows desktop as reminders, task lists or short memos. The same notes can be sent to other computers running the program, which makes it usable as a simple messenger for offices, schools and home networks.

Keeps reminders visible on the desktop and passes notes to colleagues without a cloud service.

The program works as a client and server: it detects computers on the local network, lists them as recipients and delivers a note to one machine or to a saved group; sending by e-mail through a MAPI mail client is also possible. Notes can carry alarms, repeat or expire on a set date, be password protected or encrypted, and be exported, imported and printed. Colours, fonts and themes are adjustable. ShixxNOTE is shareware with a fully functional 30-day trial and a one-time licence.
