What's new in Agent DVR 8.1.4.0:
  • Updated the age and gender model to version 2.
  • Added Limit Decoding under Video Source > Advanced to decode only live-view keyframes and reduce CPU use.
  • Fixed a Linux crash on Pascal-and-earlier NVIDIA GPUs, including GTX 10-series, when ending the first GPU encode session with others active; works around a known driver bug.
  • Fixed internal decoding for some MJPEG sources so it reconnects after a server timeout instead of remaining disabled.
  • Analytics uses face detections to report visitor age ranges and gender; live view overlays both details on detected faces.
  • Agent now decodes only streams each camera needs; Playback > Advanced's Full Decode in Live View forces full decoding while open; Encode recording bypasses Limit Decoding.
  • Grouped emailed line-crossing reports by location.
  • Limit Decoding now alerts users when live view needs full decoding instead of overriding the limit without notice.
