Hotkeycontrol

Hotkeycontrol from InchWest is a keyboard shortcut manager for Windows. It lets users assign their own hotkeys to open programs, files and folders, type frequently used text, control windows and run power actions such as shutdown or restart. Single keys and media keys can serve as hotkeys as well, and the program runs quietly from the system tray.

Volume and brightness can be changed with shortcuts and are shown with a clean on-screen display. Keys can be remapped at system level, a recorder captures keyboard and mouse macros, and actions can be scheduled. A Hotkeypanel lists all configured shortcuts, which helps to remember them. The program is shareware with a trial period.
