HP Easy Start

HP Easy Start helps people prepare an HP printer for use on a Windows computer. The guided process helps users identify the printer and install the software Windows needs to communicate with it.

It finds the printer and retrieves a suitable driver without requiring a manual driver search.

Once it identifies a printer, it obtains a suitable driver from HP and guides the user through installation. If the printer does not appear among detected devices, users can follow a separate path to find it. Internet access is required to retrieve driver files.
