Just Checking

Just Checking from Justapps is personal finance software built around a chequebook register. Each transaction records the date, payment type, cheque number, payee, memo and amount, and the program calculates an actual balance and a bank balance for every line. Transactions are marked as cleared and compared with the bank statement to reconcile an account. Several accounts and several users are supported, and data files are stored locally and can be password protected.

Cheques are printed from predefined templates that can be changed in a built-in editor. Transactions can be split, set up as recurring entries and marked for tax records, and the register offers multi-level sorting, filtering and search. Reports cover the register, payees, memos and splits. Data exported by a bank is imported from OFX, OFC, QIF, QFX and CSV files. The program is paid; the unregistered demo allows 20 transactions per file and no printing.
