Nmap is a free and open-source network exploration and security auditing tool. It can be used to discover hosts and services on a computer network, as well as create a "map" of the network. Nmap offers a variety of scanning techniques, including port scanning, version detection, and OS detection. It also has the ability to scan for vulnerabilities and provide output in various formats for further analysis.
