Pixel Art is a program that allows you to create drawings from pixels. Or rather, from points of a certain size, it does not apply to the pixels of the monitor. These drawings were used in early games such as Super Mario, but now they are just fun. In Pixel Art, it's simple - choose a color and place dots. The color can be selected from the suggested (see screenshot) or you can choose your own from the standard Windows color selection dialog (such as we see in Paint, for example). The canvas can be 20x20 or 30x30 points in size. In the interface itself, these two sizes are somehow marked as "400" and "900". You can save the resulting image in several popular formats. The Pixel Art should be run with administrator privileges, as some of the options may not work.

Pixel Art software allows the creation of unique, retro-style artwork with easy-to-use color and canvas size options.

Pixel Art is a great tool to use for game development. With Pixel Art, you can create drawings from pictures, and this was a technique used in many of the early games. Pixel Art is extremely easy to use, and you don't need a strong technical background to use it. You can save the created image in several of your favorite formats, which is a very important feature. You need to simply specify points over a certain size and Pixel Art can begin working its' magic from there.

There are hundreds of pixel art softwares out there. As for whether this software is good for game making, it depends on the ability of Pixel Art to save the files into usable formats. (generally, png). The feature most desirable is to specify pixel by pixel dimensions.
