RadioDJ is a powerful and easy-to-use software for radio station automation. Scheduling

RadioDJ can automatically schedule and cue songs according to the user's preferences. Its event scheduler can also insert shows, jingles, news, weather, advertisements and other announcements at set times.

Audio Processing

RadioDJ can process audio in real time through its audio processor plugin, which offers AGC, a compressor and a 10-band equalizer. Crossfades and sweepers that overlap the intro and end points of tracks keep the transitions smooth.

Song Selection

RadioDJ can create a library of songs, manage playlists, and make song selections based on user criteria. Its Auto DJ builds rotations from categories, subcategories and genres, with rules that prevent playing the same track, artist or album too often.

Broadcast Management

RadioDJ can manage the broadcast of a radio station around the clock, including voice tracking, a cart wall for jingles and short tracks, .m3u playlists, and relaying of podcasts and HTTP streams. Tracks can be pre-listened, and up to six sound cards can be used for different outputs.

Reports

RadioDJ keeps a history of played tracks and includes a reporting system. Now-playing artist and title data can be exported to a file, a web server or a serial port.

Integrations

RadioDJ can stream directly to Shoutcast and Icecast servers through its integrated encoder plugin. The track library is stored in a MariaDB or MySQL database, and ID3 tags are read from MP3, WAV, WMA, FLAC and other audio formats.

Database

RadioDJ includes a database setup utility that installs, backs up and restores the database. It can make a daily automatic backup at a chosen hour and also offers tools to optimize, repair and update the database.
