RDesc Portable is a free Download Management Application for Windows devices created by RDesc. The app allows you to access the various file hosting websites - including 4Shared, Filefactory, Gigasize, Hotfile, Mediafire, Megaupload, and Rapidshare - store your files and access them anytime you want. This is a perfect app to automate repetitive tasks and ensures your large files are still downloading. RDesc Portable even interfaces with your router to better manage multiple downloads at once and speed up the download process.  Do not use your browser’s “Download” feature to manage your files; while your browser can handle simple daily downloads like music or images, it does not support file pausing and resuming.

RDesc Portable allows you to create batch downloads, manage torrents, preview files, and .zip files before being download to ensure you’re not getting corrupted, missing, or incorrect files. Like always, you can review the file download contents and deselect files you don’t want, saving time, drive space, and effort. Being able to record video and capture streaming content makes RDesc highly flexible. The dashboard allows you to continue stopped or broken downloads, download all captured links on your clipboard, download all links from a given website, and prioritize the bandwidth allocations for your select files – you decide what the priority is, NOT the browser.

It is recommended to download files to a holding drive or folder, so you can properly scan, in real-time, for any viruses or malware, before transferring them to your computer.  RDesc Portable can store your login credentials for any password-protected sites that you access.
