SysInfoTools DBF Recovery is a Windows repair tool from SysInfoTools Software for damaged or inaccessible DBF database files. It works with files written by dBase, Visual FoxPro, FoxBASE, Clipper, dBFast, CodeBase, MultiBase and Arago, scans the corrupted file and rebuilds what can still be read: tables, fields, records, indexes and key definitions.
Gets tables and records back out of a DBF file that no longer opens.
After the scan the recovered objects appear in a tree view, where tables, columns and records can be inspected before saving. For badly damaged files there are two aids: the schema can be loaded from another DBF file whose header structure and column types match, and the alignment of records can be corrected by hand. A search function locates DBF files on the computer when their location is unknown. Output is a new DBF file or an MDF file. The free demo only previews the recovered data; saving requires the paid full version.
