XMPlay is an audio player that supports a wide range of audio formats as well as 4 of the most common playlist formats. At the time of the first release of this player only one audio format was supported - XM, hence the name XMPlay. However, at the moment there are such supported formats among them: OGG / MP3 / MP2 / MP1 / WMA / WAV / AIFF / CDA / MO3 / IT / XM / S3M / MTM / MOD / UMX and this is not the limit - additional formats can be added via plugins.

One main benefit of using XMPlay is its ability to support a wide variety of audio and playlist formats, with extendability via plugins.
