Caustic is a non-standard virtual synthesizer that will please both beginners and professional musicians and DJs. Bright design, large fonts, clear interface, and powerful functionality only add advantages to this utility.
Immediately after launch, we are asked to read the manual and watch the tutorial videos on YouTube. Unfortunately, most of the videos are still in English only. Tap the button at the bottom left corner of the screen if you want to go straight to the utility itself. Next we specify any free slot and choose the synthesizer: we offer 11 types. Modular synthesizer, organ and bitbox look especially tempting. The selected machine will appear in the slots menu. Click on it and you will be taken to the main tool control menu. Each of the synthesizers has its own settings and can be used to create music of a particular genre or style. They're easy to handle thanks to a simple, intuitive interface.
In addition, the program includes a sequencer, mixer, mastering editor, and a separate menu of effects that can be applied to active synthesizers. That is, the version for PC and for Android is almost identical in features. However, desktop software has no limitations, unlike mobile applications. The only downside is the lack of support.
Of course, you can't compare the functionality of this program and powerful studio software like Cubase or PreSonus One Studio. However, for training and quick start Caustic looks like one of the best variants among similar musical programs.
