YoWindow

YoWindow is a program whose purpose is to visualize weather conditions in your region. There are a lot of such utilities, but the difference between YoWindow and the rest is that besides the text indicators of weather conditions, you can look at the weather right on the picture as if you are looking into your window. So, for example, if cloudy weather is forecast, the clouds in the animated landscape move, and if the wind blows strong, the grass sways. In addition, the sun in the picture moves according to the time of day, and if you open the program at night, you will see a night landscape "outside the window". A time scroller lets you move through the day to see the forecast for any hour.

Among the indicators that are supported by the program, you will find the following: temperature, cloudiness, wind speed and direction, pressure, humidity, as well as time of day and calendar day. After installing the program you will need to choose your country and city; the location list covers even small towns. The free edition shows a 3-day forecast and one landscape, while YoWindow Unlimited adds a longer forecast and more landscapes. Note that the Windows version was built on Adobe Flash and no longer works since Flash support ended in 2021; the developers are working on a new version, and YoWindow remains available for Android and iOS.

The main benefit of using YoWindow software is its unique ability to visually represent real-time weather conditions as if looking through your own window.
