The BODMAS Calculator, developed by Paarth Batra for Windows, is an alternate version of the Windows calculator. Though it's not the default calculator that comes preinstalled on Windows, it performs all the similar mathematical operations you'd expect for a PC calculator. The name BODMAS stands for "brackets, orders, division, multiplication, addition, subtraction," which are the basic equations it can handle, as well as some more advanced equations, like square roots, long division, inverse numbers, and percentages.
It has a user-friendly interface, with an easy to view platform, so it's great for anyone and all ages! The BODMAS Rule is the mathematical rule that explains the order of operation in order to solve an equation. For instance, anything put in brackets has to be broken down and solved first, which is then followed by division, multiplication, addition, and subtraction. So the name BODMAS is derived from this infamous theory! This piece of software is recommended for anyone who's looking for a reliable calculator for their PC, and recommended for all ages!
The ODMAS Calculator is also available as an app and is available to download on the Google Play Store or Android Store. It's rated E for everyone, has a rating of 3.7 with 38 downloads on google play, so it's not all that well known as an app yet. Still, probably because most phones come with their calculator, that's all relatively similar and perform all of the essential mathematical functions. However, upon reading one of the four reviews currently listed, a user commented how the app lacked certain featured like "user history," not b3eing able to use multiple parentheses and having difficulties with using the delete button, which if the case, would definitely frustrate me and I'd be quick to uninstall and move on to the next available calculator.
That being said, there have been multiple version updates, so hopefully, they have addressed these issues and allow for a smoother performance. Even though this software's main focus is for PC's, it lost a lot of credibility in my eyes, just from viewing this negative app comment! As a result, I'd be somewhat hesitant to give the PC version a try, especially when there are a number of similar software readily available and free of charge.
The BODMAS Calculator ensures accurate calculation results by following the correct mathematical order of operations.Features:
