Bruno API Client

Bruno API Client is a Windows application for checking how APIs behave during development and troubleshooting. Developers and testers can assemble requests, submit them to a service, and examine returned data and status information. Saved requests can be grouped into collections for repeatable checks and shared through the same Git process used for source code.

File-based collections let teams track API requests alongside project code in Git.

Each collection lives in a chosen folder as readable text files, so changes can be tracked without an online workspace. The application handles REST, GraphQL, gRPC, and WebSocket connections. Users can set headers, authentication, and request bodies, switch values between environments, and attach scripts around request execution. A collection runner processes sets of requests, while notes can sit alongside saved definitions.
