Ace Media Player

Ace Media Player is a free multimedia player from GustoSoft that allows you to watch videos and listen to music of different formats. The list of supported video formats includes: MKV, MP4, FLV, WEBM, TS, VOB, WMV, MOV, MPEG, DivX, RMVB, AVI. Playback of audio files in MP3 format is also supported. It supports full-screen mode, a compact playlist, window resizing, and both internal and external SSA and SRT subtitles. Early versions of Ace Media Player worked through the Windows Media Player engine, so they played the formats that WMP supports - MP3, MP2, MPG, ASF, AVI, WAV, WMA, WMV, MPV, etc. When RealPlayer and QuickTime Player were installed, they also played RM, RA, MOV and QT files. The 2.8 line decodes formats on its own and keeps its settings in an INI file instead of the Windows Registry. The player is no longer developed, and its original website is gone.

Ace Media Player supports a vast range of video and audio formats, providing versatile multimedia playback options.
