Dariks Boot and Nuke (DBAN) is a program for permanently deleting data stored on your computer's hard drives. It allows you to create a standalone bootable floppy disk or usb-drive from which you can boot bypassing the operating system, select the desired hard drive and delete the information recorded on the drive. For complete destruction of data the program uses several special high-tech algorithms, such as: RCMP TSSIT OPS-II, DoD 5220.22-M, PRNG Stream, Gutmann, Quick Erase, etc., and also performs the procedure of cleaning the sectors of the hard drive in several passes. It takes some time, but it guarantees the result.

Dariks Boot and Nuke (DBAN) supports basic file systems (FAT, FAT32, NTFS 4.0, NTFS 5.0, etc.), recognizes RAID arrays and automatically parses volume RAID. The program allows you to work with multiple disks at the same time without noticeable loss of performance and increased consumption of computer resources.

After deleting data with Dariks Boot and Nuke, it will not be possible to recover the deleted information, even with the help of special software! DBAN is considered to be one of the best programs for rapid emergency destruction of information.
