DMG2IMG is a free, open source command line utility for converting Mac OS X disk images (.dmg) to standard Apple Disk Image (.img) format. DMG files only work with Apple based operating systems. Therefore, it becomes troublesome to share any DMG files to the non-Apple devices. Sometimes, it might also become necessary for the users to convert a DMG file to a different image disk file. All of those tasks can be done using DMG2IMG.
This tool is a command line interface (CLI) application. Therefore, it does not have any GUI interface. However, it can be easily installed on MacOS using Macports.

I have recently used DMG2IMG software to convert a file and I found it to be a very easy to use tool. It took me only a few seconds to install it and the interface was very straightforward. The conversion was successful and the file was of good quality. I had no issues with the software during the process. Overall, it was a smooth and fast experience. The software was stable and I had no problems with it. I was able to quickly move the file from one format to another without any issues. It is a great tool to have.
