Easy File Renamer

Easy File Renamer is a bulk renaming program published by Sorcim Technologies for Windows and macOS. It changes the names of files and folders in batches and has separate sections for ordinary files, for photos and videos, and for music, so that document collections, camera imports and song libraries can be brought into a consistent naming scheme.

Renames large sets of files consistently in one pass instead of one by one.

Twelve rules are available, among them replace, remove, trim, insert, prefix, suffix, numbering, case changes and extension change, with regular expressions for precise matching. Rules are stacked, previewed against the current names and saved as macros. The media section builds names from dates, camera data and dimensions, while the music section renames by tags, edits ID3 tags and loads an iTunes library file. The trial only previews results; applying them requires registration.
