File Recovery

SoftPerfect File Recovery is a small complex program for recovery of damaged or accidentally deleted files from a computer. The program works with basic file systems, supports most portable and portable devices and is capable of restoring most file permissions.

File Recovery lets you recover lost data from hard drives, floppy disks, USB drives, memory sticks and some other storage devices. The program works with file systems FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, NTFS and NTFS5. The utility is able to receive data from compressed and encrypted volumes of the hard drive. In order to find the lost file, you need to select the media and enter the required file name, then the selected area will be checked and the deleted data will be restored (if possible).

The program does not require installation on a computer, it can work from any media connected to the system. The program interface is as simple as possible and minimalistic, there are no advanced settings. To start scanning, select a disk drive and, if necessary, set a filter to search for, and after the search has been completed, you will need to specify the destination of the recovered data. The search is done on one disk. What is especially important is that File Recovery will search for and retrieve data from compressed and encrypted hard disk volumes. The program does not recover data over which other information has already been written, cannot recover files from already formatted media, and does not work with mechanically damaged devices.
