The Free Sound Recorder is a small audio recorder designed to record sound from the line or microphone input of the sound card, as well as any sounds played in the operating system. The following recording formats are supported: WAV, MP3, WMA, and OGG.
Despite all the simplicity of the program there are some interesting functions in it: first, it is a scheduler. You can specify the start and end time and date of recording, and you can also select recording in intervals, for example, to enable recording at a selected time every day or once a week. Secondly, automatic activation in case of any noise, for example, recording will start if someone talks near the microphone, in the settings you can specify the volume and duration of the noise at which the recorder will be started. Also in the program there is a simple noise engine, the principle of which to lower the "top" to avoid high-frequency hissing. Among other features, you can note the work in the background mode and management with the help of hot keys, as well as the ability to automatically assign names to the saved files.
Please note that Free Sound Recorder is distributed free of charge, but downloads a number of advertising applications that most antivirus programs consider undesirable during installation.
