Guitar Pro

Guitar Pro is a Windows music editor for people composing, arranging or learning parts for guitar, bass, banjo and ukulele. It presents music as staff notation, tablature or both, so players can work in a familiar format. You can build pieces with multiple instrument tracks, open existing song files and print a score to use away from the computer.

Write parts in notation or tab, then hear them back and adjust each instrument track.

Notes can be entered with a mouse, computer keyboard or MIDI device. Playback uses instrument sounds, with controls for track levels and effects. To study a passage, you can slow it down, repeat a section or mute a part while you play. A metronome, tuner and chord references offer further help. You can exchange MIDI files and save scores as PDFs.
