Drum Pad is a virtual drum kit that you can use to control your mouse or keyboard, as well as load your own samples and use the MIDI synthesizer. The basic version includes 19 samples of percussion instruments, including a drum, bass drum, several types of plates, a bell and so on.
The program can be used for entertainment by simply clicking on the drums, as well as for rehearsal and rhythm learning, if there is no real drum kit at hand and even during recording or live performance. This is achieved thanks to the ability to use high-quality drum samples in WAV format.
The program interface is divided into 12 blue squares, each of which is responsible for its own tool. In the upper part of each square there are arrow buttons, by clicking on which you can change the tool tied to the square. The configured configuration can be saved and loaded. The program is controlled by a computer keyboard or mouse, it also supports touchscreens and, in addition, there is a possibility to connect a MIDI-keyboard and control drums with it.
Unfortunately, Drum Pad can't save playable rhythms, so in order to save your works you will have to use external recording tools.
