iMyFone KeyGenius

iMyFone KeyGenius is a Windows utility for iPhone and iPad owners who encrypted their iTunes backups and can no longer remember the password. Without that password such a backup cannot be restored to a device. The program works on the backup files stored on the computer and tries to recover the password, so the backup can be restored or opened again.

Restores access to encrypted iPhone backups when the backup password has been forgotten.

Three attack modes are available: a dictionary attack with a built-in list of common passwords, a brute-force attack with a mask for cases where part of the password is known, and a full brute-force attack that tries every combination. A separate function removes the backup encryption setting from a connected device, so new backups are no longer encrypted.
