Kat CD Ripper from GoodKatShare is a free program for copying tracks from audio CDs to the computer. Tracks can be saved as uncompressed WAV files or encoded directly into compressed MP3 or Ogg Vorbis files, which take much less space and play on phones and portable players.

Copies audio CDs to music files for free.

Album, artist and track names are looked up in an online CD database, so the files are named and tagged automatically with ID3 tags. Encoding options control the quality of the output, the volume can be normalised, and a selected section of a track can be ripped instead of the whole track. The program is no longer developed, and its website is gone.
