MyTunes was originally created to operate with iTunes version 4.1 to 4.7, however, a stop has been put to its more release later in collaboration to iTunes revisions that are still in operation and development. Fortunately, it does not seems iTunes can not survive without the MyTunes but a new update is not required.
The MyTunes, sometimes ago, suffered a major setback when fate took it away from internet environment but that was not the end because no come back was witnessed. It sums up the vanishing of the software. Bill Zeller who is the producer of the popular software explained how he lost it when he was planning to make a new updated release of the application before he lost everything. He, however, promised that a comeback may be imminent but no updates will come along with it. The major problem that led to the stop in the release of new update was explained lost of software properties due to an unforeseen computer crash of Zeller’s computer.
After the controversial MyTunes release, another update named MyTunes Redux was released and it also vanished. The later update became more popular because it creates an avenue for sharing music via iTunes easily on computers.
There are so many features of the MyTunes application which include a user-friendly and well-organized GUI, search and view results, selection of the preferred location in regards to output folder by creating a new directory, and completion of tasks within a very short of time.
The interface of the MyTunes is flexible and easy to use as well as organized, for example, a network of connected computers is found on the left side. Also, in the right part of the window, the download location can be found.
Simple search feature creates comfort for users to easily use the drop-down list which provides artist, name, album, and genre of music, and filtering of a search result is obtainable that way. Results are displayed in the main window in a systematic way.
Also, it includes the privilege to create a new directory in which downloaded music or song instead of the output folder. It also allows as many as five users in a single network.
