This app seems like a pretty good idea! With the power of the internet, kids can end up being exposed to a multitude of things that their young minds aren't ready for. Having a program running on the computer while a child is using it would help ease the state of mind of the parent. A kid won't want to do whatever they want if a parent was hovering over their shoulder. However, with the KidLogger, parents can just look into the activity of their kid while they were using the computer after the fact. If something seems troublesome, the parent can prepare themselves to find the best way to approach their child.
