MAMP PRO

MAMP PRO gives Windows developers a desktop workspace for building websites and checking them before deployment. It runs the web server, PHP interpreter, and database services needed by many web applications on the same computer as the project files. Developers can use it to inspect site behavior, work with database-backed pages, and keep client or personal projects separate.

Separate site configurations let developers test multiple web projects without changing a shared server setup.

Each site can have its own host settings, including a choice of Apache or Nginx and, in CGI mode, a separate PHP release. The program also provides caching options and lets users copy site files and associated databases to supported cloud storage. A companion viewer app allows testing on a phone or tablet connected to the local network.
