PassFab for ZIP

PassFab for ZIP is for people who cannot remember the password for a ZIP archive they need to open. Add an archive, choose a search method, and let the program check possible passwords. It works with ZIP files created by different archiving programs, but it does not support the separate 7Z archive format.

Known characters can narrow a password search when you remember only part of an archive password.

The program can check words from a supplied list, test combinations that fit a pattern, or try characters without any hints. If you remember part of the password, you can use it to limit the search. Searches can be paused and continued later. The program can also use multiple processor cores or supported graphics hardware for password checking.
