Splitty from Basta Computing is a Windows tool for splitting large files into smaller pieces, for example to send them by email, upload them to services with size limits or copy them to small drives. Files of up to one hundred gigabytes are supported, and the parts are later joined back into the original file.
Splits large files for transfer and rejoins them safely.
Split files can be made self-extracting, so the recipient can rejoin them without having Splitty installed. Built-in checksums confirm that the rejoined file is identical to the original. Files are added by drag and drop from Explorer, network and removable drives are supported, and statistics show what was done. Splitty is paid software with a thirty-day trial.
