PeerGuardian is a free and open-source software that blocks connections from IP addresses that are known to belong to government agencies, anti-piracy organizations, and other malicious entities. It works by regularly updating its blacklist of IP addresses and blocking all incoming and outgoing connections to those addresses. PeerGuardian is compatible with various peer-to-peer file-sharing applications and can also be used to protect privacy while browsing the web.
