I have been using restic for over a year now and I have to say it has become a vital part of my daily backup routine. It is quick and easy to set up, and the encryption feature is very secure. Its compression algorithm is also great, it is able to compress my data to a fraction of its original size. The restore process is also straightforward and I have had no issues getting my data back. The documentations and tutorials are also very helpful. The only downside is that restic is not able to backup open files yet.
