Softicker is a small but very nice RSS feed reader. You can configure it, just as any RSS feed reader, by adding the feed address to the list (URL) and the program will retrieve the feed name and will check for updates. The RSS reload time can be set from 5 to 60 Minutes. I like this small application because it will run always on top of your screen as a ticker. You can quickly check all the new's headlines from a source by clicking the right or left arrows on the edges of the program window. On mouseover, when you click on a headline, a new browser window will open taking you exactly to the selected article. The program has a list of RSS addresses and you can also add your favorite RSS feed in order to permanently stay in touch with news in your fields of interest.

2. This is the first release, Vista compliant, that reads RSS feeds over HTTP protocol or locally from RSS/XML files.

It will be displayed in the scrolling bar at the top of the screen. It is very safe, secure and free downloaded with no virus that could harm the personal computer.
