This software is not the most intuitive on the market, but it packs a lot of great features for the free price. The program allows users to synchronize files across computers without having to constantly drag and drop files. It employs an advanced system for detecting files that allow the system to only synchronize altered files without losing existing data. By having the built-in ability to skip large unchanged files, folders can be synchronized in seconds as opposed to minutes. This not only works with local files but also can be synchronized over a local network using LAN via a USB device. This makes it so much easier to get the full functionality out of this software and is a great added feature.
The only real challenge with this software is that there is a slight learning curve to get it to work correctly. This takes some time to get used to as it is not the most intuitive and the main menu is so simple that it actually hurts more than it helps as a new user. Still, with a little bit of time the software becomes really easy to use, and after the first synchronization, there are absolutely no issues as far as this is concerned.
Features:
This is a simple and sparse HUD with a lot of great features for free.
This is a super useful tool to locate matching data or back-up files quickly and easily. This tool is incredibly helpful and works well with a minimal learning curve. For people who are not super comfortable learning new technology, there may be some challenges getting the initial synchronization set-up as the help feature only appeared to work intermittently.
Windows XP or Above.
