Traffic Rider is a first-person driving game, where you're at the controls of a motorcycle tearing through streets packed with traffic. The routes are made up exclusively of straight roads, which means that although you're overtaking other cars, you never have to worry about sharp turns.

The gameplay style is very similar to that of Traffic Racer, another game from the same developer. You accelerate by pressing the right handlebar and stop by pressing the left one. To tilt the motorcycle from one side to the other, all you need to do is tilt your device - an intuitive move that's also very well executed in the game. When you overtake another car, it's advisable to skim as close as possible to earn more points or extend your playtime, depending on the game mode.
