Unchecky is a software that helps prevent potentially unwanted programs (PUPs) from being accidentally installed on your computer. It does this by automatically unchecking checkboxes during software installations that may include additional software or toolbars. Unchecky also provides warnings and notifications when attempting to install known PUPs, giving users the option to decline or cancel the installation. Additionally, Unchecky can be customized to exclude specific software and can run in the background without interfering with other programs.
