Vidmore Video Enhancer is a Windows and Mac program from Vidmore for improving the picture quality of existing videos. It is aimed at old recordings, phone and action camera clips and other low-resolution footage that looks soft, dark, grainy or shaky, and it needs no video editing experience. On its own site the vendor now presents the product under the name VidHex.
Turns blurry, shaky or low-resolution clips into clearer video without editing experience.
The enhancer upscales standard-definition video to 720p, 1080p or 4K, removes noise, stabilises shaky shots and adjusts brightness, contrast and saturation automatically. Clips can also be rotated, cropped, trimmed, merged and watermarked before export. MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WMV and many other formats are accepted. The Store edition installs as a free version that limits the length of processed video; a paid Pro licence removes the limit.
