Windows Snapshot Maker (abbreviated as WinSnap) is a small utility for creating and editing screenshots.

WinSnap automates all manual work and solves technical issues that you could previously only solve with Photoshop or other image editor. Initially, WinSnap was designed to create screenshots of non-rectangular windows, such as windows with visual XP styles, media players with skins, etc.

WinSnap allows easy creation and editing of professional-level screenshots with various effects and automation of manual work.

Now the program is complemented by professional effects such as blurring, color effects, transformation of the web, the ability to automatically save images and much more.

WinSnap helps you create small icons and full-size screenshots for your web blog or homepage, visualize technical and educational materials, and send thumbnails via email. Take professional screenshots with just one click!

WinSnap is specifically designed to work in the new Windows Vista user interface. It solves all possible problems with translucent window frames and rounded corners. WinSnap can apply a shadow effect similar to the Aero theme.

Now the shadows are translucent! They make it very easy to create images, which is useful when you take screenshots on a multicolor background.

WinSnap allows you to select and capture multiple objects (e.g. window, dialog, buttons and control) at the same time. Simply place a few windows and combine them into the desired screenshot image.

You can quickly open screenshots in your favorite screenshot editor by clicking Tools menu, or by pressing the shortcut keys. You can also automatically save images in different directories in different formats.

NOTE: Registered users can download the WinSnap Portable Edition. This is a special edition of WinSnap designed for portable devices: USB flash drives, memory cards, iPod/MP3 players, network exchange, etc.

before Win snap I I had to save screenshots the old-fashioned way . pushing the print screen key is easy I know, it's stopping what I'm doing to open my paint program and save the file or lose it that makes it a pain. with Win snap saving screenshots is a snap, you can save multiple screenshots at a time, without worrying about losing them. the application does other things as well such as it has an image editor and it is complemented with professional effects like burnt , or blurring color effects , transformation of the web , and much more you can create smoke icons , full size screenshots and sent them nails send them in emails , create Enterprise Shadows , translucent Shadows ,you can capture multiple objects , or/ and combine windows t ,hey're easy to save screenshots are easy to save you can have them sent to any file you want. free to use or you can register to download a portable edition that is for USB flash drives memory cards and MP3 players . mouse and keyboard controls , it also has a multilingual user interface and it's small and fast and is as easy to use as a text editor win snap is the best .

I really like that they found a more simpler, quicker way to save more than one screenshot at a time, and not have to worry about losing what you already have. This product does offer other positive attributes, image editor, blurring color effects, full size screenshots, and so, so much more. I have been using WinSnap for a few months now and I must say that it is one of the most reliable and user friendly software I have ever used. It has a clean and intuitive interface that makes taking screenshots a breeze. I like the fact that it can quickly save images in multiple formats and sizes, and the ability to add annotations directly from the software is really handy. The image editing features are extensive and I have been able to do some really professional looking screenshots with it. The only downside is that the price is a bit steep for casual users.
