Xrecode II is a little-known conversion tool that people to convert just about every single media format to an audio format of their choosing. I know I'm not the only one who has heard a great song on YouTube or some other website that you frequently visit wishing you can add it to your media library. Well, Xrecode II allows you to do just that with incredible ease. I personally think this is a perfect program to use if you are the kind of person that listens to podcasts, lectures, or any other long-running programming that you can listen to.
Features:
While I think the program is great, like everything in the world there is some bad that comes with the program. Now, one of the major benefits of Xrecode II is the fact that you can get this lovely software for free. However, there is a catch. That catch is the fact you have to read an annoying message for a few seconds after you launch the program. If you're the kind of person that gets turned off by pop-ups don't worry. You can spend $15 on the program to get rid of that annoying message for good. It's not a requirement so I just let it go. Another thing that can be a bit of a turn off is its strange interface. Now keep in mind this is something designed for beginners, and if you've never converted media before you will pick this up easier than a veteran. As someone who has done conversion work before, I actually found the new interface a bit tedious and clunky. However, I was able to get the hang of it after an hour of playing around with it. All in all, it's a solid program and you should pick it up.
