Yahoo! Messenger for Windows, is a free messaging service that connects together instant messaging, personal services, and email. As a bonus, it links to news services, allowing you to link along with your contacts with others and your links to news, weather, sports, business, and other kinds of news. It offers one of the few and rare integrated chat experiences found among technology companies from a name that's been in the technology industry for more than two decades.

It is a redesigned version of Yahoo! Chat, which was an Internet chat service for nearly 20 years and used and beloved by millions. Originally released in 1998, it remained popular until it was shut down in 2012. Like Yahoo! Chat, it puts you into instant contact with your friends. It allows you to see when friends are online and send messages to them. It also allows you to save past conversations with friends, and it puts conversations with friends in the same tabbed interface as its other features. Through a series of tabs, you're able to switch quickly between conversations with friends and to the other services Yahoo! Messenger for Windows provides, such as the news links.

Yahoo! Messenger for Windows, supports file sharing among users, which has long been a popular service. Files can be up to 2 GB, though more recently it has been limited to photo files, GIFs, and videos. These features interface well with other products and services owned by Yahoo!, which offers you an excellent integrated experience. These advantages of scale offer the user significantly more than a stand-alone chat program.

Yahoo! Messenger is a free messaging service that connects together instant messaging, personal services, and email. The app is a redesigned version of a popular Yahoo! Chat which was an Internet chat service for nearly 20 years. Not only does the app allow you to see when friends are online and send messages to them, but you can also save past conversations with friends, share photos instantly and use things like GIFS. The app supports voice calls and video chats as well as offers group chats and conferencing capabilities. Yahoo! Messenger is free even on mobile devices.
Some users complain that the app doesn’t contain developed options. And they say that the design of the app doesn't look modern. They also prefer the Android version to the PC one. On the other hand, Yahoo! Messenger provides safety to the customers and it’s fast to type messages there.

Overall, Yahoo! Messenger is worth being checked out.

This software is great for people who are constantly on Yahoo because this is a messaging app that facilitates the process of communicating with other people who are on Yahoo as well. You are able to share photos instantly and use things like GIFS and even unsend messages. This app is free even on mobile devices and it is an essential download for many. The 11.5 version is the most updated.

I remember using Yahoo Messenger back in the day so it's great to see that some form of it exists still out there. The program is pretty self explanatory. It enables you to use the classic messenger which involves you talking to your friends and also being able to check your mail. It's a nice throwback to when we used to use these messengers.

It is very disappointing and terrible compare to other messenger applications. It does not contains developed options on it. PC version is too bad while comparing other devices. The video calls and games option is good. Though android version is better

Honestly, No one around me is using Yahoo these days and I don't know if I can convince my friends and family to use the app as well since we're using other alternatives. Also the design doesn't look that modern, so it's not that visual appealing. However, if there are some features that catch my eyes and unique, I don't mind give it a try.
