RealPlayer is a multi-format player with many interesting functions. One of the most interesting features of the player is the ability to download any video from websites. While playing a video, a special button "Download this video" will appear. Click on it and the video will be saved to your hard drive. You can leave it in its original form, or, using the built-in editor, delete unnecessary parts. RealPlayer can play and convert almost any file format, including Adobe Flash animation, Quicktime video, MPEG-4, Windows Media and DVDs.

You can control the video on your mobile devices with the program. Simply connect it to your computer and click "Copy". It automatically converts your video to a format compatible with your mobile device and copies it to memory so you can enjoy your favorite videos anywhere! Sharing the downloaded video with friends is now even easier. To do this, choose your favorite video from the library and send it to your friends via email or upload it to Facebook - just by pressing a button!

The program respects your privacy. With the new so-called "Private mode", it is possible to save the video in a secret folder protected from other people's eyes by password. The latest version of the application provides the ability to maintain a library of photos and videos from all your mobile devices. Just connect them to your PC and RealPlayer will do the rest.

Wow! Real Player is still a thing? For someone at my age (27), I only vaguely remember this software from back in the day. This seems like a good alternative to "windows media player" or whatever windows uses at this point in time. I generally use Mac products (I still own two windows PC's that I use regularly) but I have no idea what I would do without iTunes. I think this could be a great product for someone that wants to avoid using iTunes on their Windows PC. Video conversion is a great selling point as well as the mobile functionality. My only feedback would be to maybe change the name. I don't think RealPlayer generally has a good reputation and people are generally averse to what is perceived as older software.
