ASUS TurboV EVO

ASUS TurboV EVO is a program designed to overclock systems with ASUS motherboards. On computers with motherboards from other manufacturers this utility will not work, so there is no point in installing it there. Unlike many other overclocking programs, ASUS TurboV EVO can be used without any overclocking experience thanks to its automatic tuning. Changing the frequency and voltage sliders of the various system components manually without a good understanding of their effect is not recommended.

In general, if you own a supported ASUS motherboard, have no experience in overclocking and want to get more performance from your PC, just start the program and use the one-click CPU Level Up function or the Auto Tuning mode with its Fast and Extreme options. ASUS TurboV EVO will determine CPU settings intended to keep the system stable. Keep in mind that overclocking the CPU will cause it to generate more heat, which will make the CPU cooler spin faster and produce more noise. For advanced users, the Manual Mode lets you change the base clock (BCLK), CPU and DRAM voltages, the CPU ratio and the CPU strap. This mode supports working with settings profiles.

So, what do we have in the end? TurboV EVO is a free overclocking tool for ASUS motherboards; on later boards it is part of the AI Suite II package, next to modules such as DIGI+ Power Control, FAN Xpert+ and Probe II. Especially useful is the mode of automatic overclocking with one click.
